1. BECOMING A MOTHER
Experiencing pure love from my Son Ryker.
Learning the strengths I never knew I had & dealing with fears I never knew existed.
2. QUITTING MY LAST SALON JOB I quit, on the spot. Unplanned & unexpected. I regretted not giving notice, it's not good etiquette. I own it.
No regrets in life just life lessons.
Out of that daunting career moment, I’ve developed confidence I never knew I could.
I had no guilt on why I quit; my values & integrity no longer aligned. I didn't quit myself that day...I empowered myself.
The comebacks are always stronger than setbacks.
3. CREATING SHEARIOUSLY - [6 YEARS AGO]
I Sheariously work in my basement!
Did you see that coming? Did you GASPED & rolled your eyes?
Sheariously, I was like you! Judging the 'kitchen salon' lifestyle. Viewing it unprofessional & uneducated.
So I took the plunge to break the stereotype. Challenge accepted!!! I learned to view negative aspects/assumptions & find the positive outlooks to build a Professional Licensed Home Base Business & continue investing money/time to refine my skills in both hair, people & business development. Gained appreciation for Salon ownership. We are so blessed to be in an industry that has so many opportunities & flexibility.
Stay tuned, I'm brewing some Sheariously amazing things!
4. FIRST ON SCENE A van flipped over on the highway on my way to Edmonton for Matrix Educator Training. I pulled a five-year-old out from the upside down wreckage. [no fatalities] The experience heightened my anxiety (my son was the same age) but my scars from the broken glass remind me that lives got to walk away that day & life is precious. Why reflect on your life's moments?
The triumphs & troubles are your story to tell. Personal growth from the learning's of each moment are life's greatest treasures. Win & Learn!
Sin-Sheariously, Jami
