When I first started my career, I was ask countless times why I choose to be a Hairstylist. Besides the obvious passionate response, I also added, it's an Industry that technology will never take over the creative aspect of hands in hair. In the 16 year journey behind the chair, technology still hasn't changed the concept of hands in hair but it has been implement on how we show up in our career. When I worked in a standard Salon as an employee, the Owners would always discuss during staff meetings that there is TOO MUCH colour wastage which in turn would be a HUGE loss of revenue & profit for the Salon.
